8th Grade Ceremony & Dance
Graduating 8th grade students will be celebrated on Friday, May 18th at 10:00 a.m. in the Montford gymnasium. There is a limited amount of
space, so get there early and sit close together to ensure a seat. After the ceremony, students will be able to be signed out for the rest
of the day, provided a Sign Out Excuse Form is completed and returned to the
front office before the day of the ceremony.
This year's 8th grade class is also celebrating with a school dance, also on Friday, May 18th, in the gymnasium from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Leon County Virtual Instruction Program: Open Enrollment Notice
Leon County students enrolled in the Leon County Virtual School receive individualized instruction utilizing the Internet, email, telephone,
instant messaging, online collaboration tools and face-to-face teacher forums. The virtual format allows flexibility of time and location,
while promoting the skills and self-discipline for success in the 21st Century. Students may register for any course offered through Leon
County Virtual School (contingent upon parent and guidance counselor approval).

End-of-Course Assessments
Leon County Schools will be administering End-of-Course Assessments during the following dates:
- April 23 - 27: Geometry
- April 30 - May 8: Biology
- May 9 - 18: Algebra I
This is a computer-based test (CBT), and students have an opportunity to participate in a practice test to become familiar with the software,
item types, and online tools he/she will encounter and use during testing.

2012 "Making of a Mustang" Orientation Summer Camp
This is a summer opportunity for incoming sixth graders to help them meet and build relationships with student peers and instructors before
the beginning of school, thus providing a smooth transition to the middle school community.
