Community Service Information

7th Grade Civics Program Providing
Community Service Hours At School

Once again, Montford Middle School has taken a proactive route to ensure students are being provided the best opportunities for their educational enhancement. The Social Studies Department, specifically the 7th grade Civics program, is providing community service hours at school. Students may earn any or all of their five (5) hours per quarter outside of the normal school day in any of the following manner:
  • before school
  • after school
  • at any extra-curricular activities sponsored by Montford Middle School

Making of a Mustang: Orientation Summer Camp for Incoming 6th Graders

Montford Middle School is offering an orientation camp for incoming sixth graders the week of August 9, 2010. Deposits are due on or before June 1st. Space is limited, so turn in your deposit and registration form early! Contact Mrs. Jan Graham with questions grahamj@leonschools.net.

Transportation/Bus Notes

If your child has a bus note to ride another bus home or get off at a different stop, the note must include a phone number and will require the school to contact a parent for verification. For this reason, notes must be given to the front office no later than 9:45 a.m.
